After leaving San Francisco, we drove down Highway 1 to Carmel.

We found a cute old lighthouse along the way and stopped to take some pics.
(This is the location where I officially cracked my rib. Ow!)
After driving for about 4 hours with several stops along the way, we arrived at the beach house that had been rented by the company hosting us in Carmel Highlands.
The house was phenomenal!

After settling in, the hosting group took us to dinner at Sierra Mar in Big Sur.
The restaurant was up a hill, nestled in the trees overlooking the ocean. This is a pic of us with the mountains behind us facing the main building where the restaurant was located. Dinner was an awesome 4 course meal. Perfection!
